About Our Jewelry:
Are your items genuine sterling silver?: If an item is described in the title or description as "Sterling Silver" then this item is .925 genuine sterling silver. If it is described as silver color, silver tone, silver plated, metal, or otherwise, then it is not made of genuine sterling silver, but rather silver plated, of a different material, etc.
How do I care for sterling silver jewelry?: Please see our Sterling

What is palladium silver? : You may have noticed that some of our items are made of a new material, known as Palladium silver. Palladium is a precious metal that resembles platinum in appearance. Since silver is a soft metal, jewelry is rarely, if ever, made out of pure silver. Indeed, "sterling silver" simply means that 92.5% of the metal is silver, the remaining portion can be almost anything, including nickel. Palladium Silver is a newer silver alloy that instead of using nickel, mixes palladium in with the silver to produce the metal used to make
this jewelry. This allows jewelry to be created that costs only slightly more than sterling silver but has many of the properties of palladium, a platinum-group element.
Can you custom make an item for me?: Because many of our items are hand-made we can customize many items. We can also create completely custom items for larger orders for resellers or groups. Please contact

Do you offer gift wrap or other gift services?: When completing your order you will be given the option to gift box your items or choose or deluxe gift wrap service. Gift box/wrap services are limited to one per item, with a maximum of three per order. If you need to purchase additional gift boxes please contact

Can I use your photos or text?: All content on this site, including but not limited to photos, text, and graphics are copyrighted by Charming Chick . We will pursue all available legal actions against anyone who uses our website content without our permission.
Payment:
What payment methods do you accept?: We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, checks (U.S. only) and money orders (U.S. only). PayPal accepts most major credit cards, as well as electronic checks and bank transfers. All checks and money orders must be in U.S. dollars drawn on U.S. bank from a U.S. customer. Therefore customers outside of the United States must pay via credit card or PayPal.

I paid via eCheck on PayPal. When will you ship my order?: PayPal requires that we hold all eCheck orders until the payment has cleared. This usually takes about

business days. You can view the estimated date that your eCheck will clear by going to http://paypal.com, logging into your account history, and clicking on the eCheck payment to Charming Chick. The status of the payment will say "uncleared" until the payment clears. This page will also show the estimated clearing date of the eCheck. Once the payment clears, we will be notified, and will ship your order within 72 hours, unless we notify you otherwise. You will receive an email when your order is shipped.
Do you accept cash?: Mailing cash is extremely risky and certainly not recommended. Money orders can be purchased at most banks, grocery stores, post offices and gas stations for a very minimal cost. International money orders can be purchased at most
international banks and post offices. Save yourself the hassle of losing your money in the mail by purchasing a money order or opening a PayPal account.
I paid via check or money order. When will you ship my order?: It can take us up to two weeks to receive a payment if you sent it via First Class Mail. Then we must hold payment for up to seven banking days. This means that your order might not ship until three weeks later. If you are in a hurry to receive your item in sooner than three weeks, we recommend paying via Visa, MasterCard, or PayPal. You will receive an email when your order ships.
Shipping:
How much does shipping cost?: Charming Chick is highly committed to offering the lowest possible shipping costs. For this reason we charge as close to exactly what we pay in postage, plus a small packaging fee. For most small jewelry orders shipped within the U.S. the cost will be around $3 for First Class Mail or around $5 for Priority Mail. Don't forget that all orders over $20 receive free first class mail shipping. Expedited shipping methods are available for an additional cost. International shipping costs vary depending on the country, size of the order, etc. Please begin the check out process to see your available shipping methods and cost options. You will be able to view all available options and costs before payment is ever requested.
What shipping methods do you offer?: Charming Chick currently offers U. S. Postal Service shipping methods (USPS) as our primary shipping carrier. We also offer UPS for domestic packages if you prefer this method. The USPS has numerous shipping options ranging in price depending on how quickly you need to receive the order. All available options and costs will be displayed during the checkout process for your review before payment is ever requested.
Do you offer
insurance?: Yes! We highly recommend insuring your order as we cannot be responsible for loss or damage during shipment. Insurance costs vary depending on country and value.
Do you ship internationally?: We do ship internationally, but usually review each order on an individual basis. For more information, see our Shipping
Page.
When will my order be shipped?: In most cases your order will be shipped within 72 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Should your require additional processing time we will notify you within those 72 hours. You will receive an email when your order has been shipped.
How long will it take to receive my item?: This depends on the shipping method that you choose. USPS Express Mail usually arrives the next day, but it not guaranteed to arrive the next day, especially during busy times or to some locations. Priority Mail usually takes about 2-3 days to arrive, but again it is not guaranteed. First Class Mail can take one to two weeks to arrive. If you are in a hurry, we recommend Express or Priority Mail, since First Class Mail can be so unpredictable. Items shipping via first class mail usually arrive in under one week, but can take up to two weeks. Packages shipped to international locations vary depending on method and country. Please visit http://usps.com for estimated transit times to your location.
I haven't received my order, what should I do?: Chances are that your package is still in transit. If it has been an inordinate amount of time (over two weeks for First Class Mail or one week for Priority Mail), please contact
us so that we can launch an investigation into the location of your order.
Watch FAQ:
Do your watches include batteries and what is your battery warranty?: Our watches do include batteries, however they are mainly meant for display purposes, and we cannot guarantee them for any length of time. Sometimes this means that your battery will last several months, sometimes shorter, and the battery life is
very unpredictable. Upon shipment we always verify that the watch is working properly. Thus we do guarantee that your watch batteries will working when you receive the item. Should your watch not be working when you receive it due to a drained battery, you must notify us within 48 hours. You'll be given instructions on how to return the watch for replacement batteries as long as
your return meets our criteria. Damage that occurred during shipment is not covered by our return policy unless you purchase shipping insurance.
How do I start my watch?: If you watch is not already started please ensure that the dial on the side of the watch is pushed all the way in. Also remove any plastic stopper that may in place to keep this dial from being pushed in. Lastly, if there is a red and clear plastic strip on the back of the watch face, you'll need to remove this to start the watch.
I just received my watch and it doesn't seem to be working. What should I do?: First, please be sure that you have followed our "how to start your watch" instructions carefully. Often the dial on the side of watch just needs to be pushed in so that the watch will begin ticking. Second, check to see if there appears to be any damage to the item that occurred during shipment. You should check the package to see if the packaging is still intact and check the watch for obvious marks, scratches, cracks, etc. If this is the case, and you purchased shipping insurance, please contact us immediately so
that we can file a claim. If you did not purchase shipping insurance, there is nothing we can do in this situation, since you opted to take responsibility if any damage occurred to your item. Finally, if the watch still is not working, please contact us with 48 hours of receiving the item. If the return meets our guidelines, we will give you the return address to send your item to so that we can repair or replace the item. If it has been more than 48 hours since you received the item and the watch stops working, please see the following question.
What if my watch stops working sometime after I receive it?: Most likely this is just due to a drained battery. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the batteries for any length of time, however new batteries can be purchased at many retailers for a nominal cost. Walmart carries standard watch batteries for around $3. If replacing the batteries does not work, we recommend taking the watch to a jeweler to see if there is another problem due to normal wear and tear.
